Here are a few ways we can work together to make a difference in our community showing God's love to hurting people in our own backyard.

Serving in your own backyard!

Oil Change Volunteers

Twice each year we offer free oil changes to single moms and low-income families. Don’t know anything about cars? No problem! Consider helping greet our guests, serving meals to our volunteers, or organizing supplies. GET MORE INFO

Adopt-a-School

Teams of helpers “adopt” a local school and serve the faculty, perhaps by cleaning the teacher’s lounge once a month, appreciating teachers with meals during conferences, or surprising the staff with treats from time to time. GET MORE INFO

Weekend Hunger

Oftentimes children who receive free lunches at school go hungry on the weekend. Weekend Hunger provides backpacks of food for children to take home at the end of the school week. GET MORE INFO

Food Pantry

Each week, Calvary’s Food Pantry provides food for about 40 families from the community. GET MORE INFO

Warming Center
When weather is predicted to be dangerously cold, Calvary’s St. Charles Campus may be activated as a warming center for our homeless community. Volunteers are needed for a variety of areas. GET MORE INFO

Moving Ministry

Help homeless and underprivileged families with relocating. GET MORE INFO

Safe Families

Safe Families for Children is a national movement of compassion that gives hope to families in crisis. This network of volunteer host families helps parents who need temporary care for their children as they work through unmanageable or critical circumstances. GET MORE INFO
